CURAÇAO SUMMER PREPARATION
3 Great core and glute specific exercises to get our bodies ready for the summer workout season! Building glutes and a strong core is essential in keeping us safe while being active. Take advantage of the less active winter months by using these exercises to get your body ready to move.
Summer 7 Series - Workout 4
Balance (2 Sets) 10 Single Leg Deadlift 10 Super Persons 10 Single Leg 180 Squat Jog 10 m in between exercises and 30m back to the start at the end of each set.
Team Pursuit (3 sets) 15 Burpee, 15 Pull Up, 15 Push up, 15 Mountain Climber
Core and Glute Cool Down (2 sets) 15 Dead Bug, 15 Side plank, 15 Body Saw , 15 Side-lying leg lifts, 10 Lateral Shuffles
Summer 7 Series - Workout 3
Group 1 - 4 sets of: 20 Over Unders 20 Pull Ups 20 Step Ups (total) 20 Knee Ups
Group 2 - 2 sets of: 10 Marching Planks 10 Bridge Walks 10 Side-lying leg ups 100m Jog
Summer 7 Series - Workout 2
Group 1 (12 min): Plank rotation15 reps Side plank with hip abductions 15/15 repsSideways shuffle 70m
Group 2 (12 min): Body row 10 Bar overs or unders 10 Superman single leg squat 10/leg
Group 3 - 2 Sets of: 10 pull up squats 10 step up/leg 10 jump squat 10 dips 10 burpees
Summer 7 Series - Workout 1
Set 1 (12 Minutes of:) 15 Push Ups, 200m Jog, 20 Jump Squat
Set 2 (12 Minutes of:) 40 Step Ups, 20 Dips, 30 Step Ups, 15 Dips, 20 Step Ups, 10 Dips, 10 Step Ups, 5 Dips
Set 3 (2 Sets of:) 1 min lateral hop, 1 minute plank, 1 minute jump lunge, 1 minute wall sit
